The Diamond City Figure Skating Club was formed on January 31, 2009. We are a non-profit public charity sanctioned through the United States Figure Skating Association and abide by all rules and regulations set forth by the USFSA. Our programs and private lessons are open to male and female figure skaters of all ages and ability levels.
The skaters have participated in local, regional, state and national competitions, traveling as far as California and Colorado, making us extremely proud by bringing home several medals.
Our skaters have been featured in local newspapers, magazines and on television. We participate in the local Veterans Day Parade, St. Patrick's Day Parade and the Christmas Parade. Figure skaters showcase their talent in annual shows and exhibitions held at the rink. The Skaters also perform during intermission at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins hockey games.
To visit us at the rink take Interstate I-81 to the Mohegan Sun Arena exit, make a left at the traffic light and proceed down the hill to 38 Coal Street.
